really loved this story!

very well well written, great story line, and well performed! Loved it! I was very intrigued throughout the story!

Well written and realistic dialogue

The story is a bit of a stretch but the interactions between the characters are spot on. I really enjoyed this book and I couldn’t stop listening.

Different....

While I loved the Hotholes.... I did like this book, better than I thought I would considering the characters are in high school, which isn't usually my jam. I'm not a super fan of the way Melody was portrayed, considering I loved Defy, but I get characters evolve so it's not any kind of deal breaker for not listening to it.
Female narrator was fine, Angela is new to me. Maxine has very little time (one or two chapters maybe?). The male narrator, which in general was fine, I didn't really feel like his voice fit the character. Again, not a deal breaker, but by the time I listened to the entire book, I would have pictured Penn's voice a little deeper.
All in all, you can't go wrong with LJ Shen.

This book has some sex, drugs, achole and violence. l still liked the story line, it is one of these books that goes off two main characters in the book. this is more suitable for young adults.

Very angsty teen novel. Children of some of the best hot-holes ever! Daria is Jamie and Melody’s first born. She is a strong willed, vicious girl wearing a cheer uniform and pompoms. Penn Scully is the football star of a rival team and long before she knew who he was, she fell a little for him. Now he will be her downfall in so many ways. In truth, each action she has taken has led to her downfall but through it all, she becomes the person she was as Leary’s meant to be. She is his heart’s desire and biggest enemy. He is split in two but can no longer deny himself. She is his...and he is hers.

Great ending!
