The story is wonderfully done. What may seem to be a “simple childhood prank” can result in a devastating psychological trauma that can never be forgotten. Love Rhys Dylan.

An excellent British procedural

I am enjoying this series, and am looking forward to reading more in the series.

Solid, Entertaining Read

While the mystery seemed pretty obvious in this one, the characters were good, including the addition of a new regular that I hope sticks around, the humor made me laugh out loud a couple times, and the pacing, settings, detail, and prose were all excellent.

And while I was confident I had this one figured out early on, there was still doubt until the end.

I enjoyed it thoroughly and would highly recommend it.

Great plot, extremely captivating

Book 2 of the DCI Warlow series, and the writing just keep getting better. This book hooked me from the start. I had trouble turning off the app so I could get other things done. It has a great plot, with just enough character development mixed in to keep you entertained. The ending was full of twists and turns. Loved being surprised at the end. Well worth the listen!!

Good story

I enjoy “across the pond” detective mysteries. The main characters are interesting & easy to get to know.Easy to follow storylines & pleasant narration.
