Not as good as rest of series so far

This installment drags on a bit; even the narrator seems bored with it, reading in a clipped static manner. Hope next one is better.

A Top of the Pile British Mystery Series

The narrator’s fluent Welsh adds to my listening pleasure as does his younger voice. The girls not only sound like girls but young girls when they need to. The descriptive writing is lovely as are the clever plot twists. But above it all, Dylan has created characters I care about. I will probably read through the whole series again in a year or two.

This one I got lost and couldn’t keep up or get back on track. Don’t get me wrong I love his writing and will continue to follow. Top quality!!

The writing and narration!

I love this series and the Welsh language. Rhys Dylan’s writing is superb and much better than the domestic thrillers with “Romantic” overtones. I have listened to most of his
books and will continue to look for any new ones.
