Publisher's summary

Once the first female quarterback of her high school team, Sutton McCoy has since landed her dream job as the offensive coordinator for the new NFL team the Connecticut Cheetahs. When the team recruits established quarterback Grayson Moats to lead them, Sutton’s heart is crushed. Grayson isn’t the problem. Sutton’s 15-year crush on his wife, Parker O’Neal, is.

Parker is living a life full of regrets dating all the way back to high school when her parents made her end her relationship with Sutton because there were too many rumors about her, not all of them good. When Grayson accepts the new quarterback position with the Cheetahs, he consults Parker first, knowing the three of them have history. But it’s not like she can tell him the truth, that Sutton still occupies so much of Parker’s head and heart.

Interfering in the personal life of the star quarterback and convincing Parker to walk away from her family were never in Sutton’s game plan. But standing on the sidelines when a second chance at true love comes their way proves all but impossible.

Fantastic

I really enjoyed this book and not just for the romance and the football. I really enjoyed the side by side timelines. it was a very cool look into the history of the characters.

Fun fluffy football themed love story

I gobbled this story up in 2 days. Sweet time jumping romance with the past and present folding together like love oragami.

Honestly I’m impressed

I spend 90% of this book trying to figure out how Sutton and Parker would be together and I am so happy and surprised by how it happened!

First book by this author I do not like.

Really nothing happened, it was boring, it dragged, there was zero heat or buildup like her normal books and the narrator was awful. bummed but I guess they can't all be a hit! everything else she's ever written I have loved but this missed on every mark.

This Should be Called 'Deadliest Catch'!

The story had possibilities but the way it fluttered between the past and the present, and the before past then the after past was confusing. The story of the gay female quarterback in love with 'the girl' who was controlled by the religious parents held a thread of truth (at least the possibilities of truth) during High School. All in all, I'm not recommending this book. There are books out there with much better story lines.

Tears of joy at the end!

I loved the storyline behind this book with the powerhouse female breaking ceiling while navigating a once broken heart! This author definitely brought the slow burn that made me ache for the characters and binge this book because I needed to know how it needed as quickly as possible. Love Love Loved!

Nothing happens

Nothing happens. Half the book is set in the past when the mc was a teen, something I was specifically trying to avoid. Overall, the 2 things that happened were predictable and I still have not a single reason the love interest is so amazing. Shes just hot, nothing else. Mc isnt far off that desc either… dissapointing and a waste :/
