Quaint and sweet

The story was heart warming and quaint. A true tale of forbidding love and secrets, and lies, but with a good ending.

loved the story and the narrator performance story was great. enjoyed the voice while listening to the story and loved how the story ended.

I was looking for something like this, loved it. we dont find sapphic novels that are not contemporary. loved the action In it too.

It's cute 🤗

It took me a minute to get into the actual narration, as she makes some weird choices for character voices, but the story is cute. The world building is minimal, which is a shame because her take on magic, kingdoms and crimes is truly a fresh take. The story focuses on the developing relationship between the two POV characters, and the plot and intrigue that's happening in the background is sacrificed. Another shame, because it's so incredibly intriguing. It's a cute story overall, but it really could've been an epic with a shift in focus. Still, worth a read for light romantasy fans 4/5
