Doc Holyday never expected to be in a new world with a new name, but Lady Luck made him an offer he couldn’t refuse. Her deal came with perks; he gained the ability to heal and he could periodically avoid taking damage from any single attack. Lady Luck had assured him that the list of perks would grow over time. The offer also came with a major drawback, however - Doc had to help save the world.

While that would be a tall order for anyone, Doc was never one to back down from a challenge. Luckily, pun intended, Doc struck it rich on a mining expedition, staking a claim worth more than the whole town of Deep Gulch.

Using his new wealth, Doc hired the local clan of dwarves to work the claim. He offered them not only a better wage, but respect as well. Similarly, he was able to hire the secretary away from what had been the wealthiest man in town, and freed several of the town’s merchants from the crippling debt they’d been saddled with.

All of this has made him a target for the bigwigs who run the town. Doc isn’t worried, though, because he has friends to help him along. But will they be enough to handle Goodman and Suez? And the Church of Apoc, which is bound to notice him?

This book contains adult situations, including but not limited to: sex, gambling, abuse, drug use, harem, and murder. It also contains graphic sex scenes, which portray elements of BDSM. You’ve been warned.

(No spoilers) I'm not super big on harems. I got hooked on Daniel's books starting with Gamer for Life, then Apocalypse Gates. The stories, IMHO are super entertaining, but Andrea makes them really come to life. I laughed my ass off listening to the bloopers. I look forward to the next story in the series. The hate part is due to some of the personalities the characters have in each of his books. They seem a bit recycled at times, but here I am, coming back for more.

love/hate relationship with Daniel

Would honestly recommend most of this authors books however after reading a few of the different stories gotta say they are kinda all the same but in different fonts, seems the author sticks with almost the exact same story set up with same exact relationships and then just changes the mc personality slightly and drops them on a different world. With that being said still a good series but honestly if you change the names and setting this is literally an exact copy of morrigans binding

Pretty good

I have been waiting for months for the audio of this book to come out. while it was originally the concept of a western themed fantasy story that grabbed my interest. it was the performance by the voice actor that draws me into the well crafted story and amazingly built world.

an amazing production

I very much enjoyed everything from Andrea’s narration, to the continuation of Doc’s story from the last book being so good. I hope that more is to come from this series.
