A Warhammer 40,000 Audiobook

In the cold dark between distant stars, the Carcharodon Astra hunt. These Space Marines are the Imperium’s exiled protectors, merciless predators who prey on the enemies of mankind at the edges of the galaxy. Yet there are times when they must set aside their insular practices and come in from the depths, a duty that Bail Sharr and the Carcharodon’s Third Company must now fulfil.

LISTEN TO IT BECAUSE

The Carcharodons are a Space Marine Chapter unlike any other. Get a window into their inner workings as they navigate a protracted war and their relationship with Adeptus Mechanicus allies.

THE STORY

The isolated forge world of Diamantus faces a threat of apocalyptic proportions – a warped and mutated space hulk infested by the forces of Chaos, commanded by the monstrous datagnost Voldire, disciple of the dread demigod Vashtorr the Arkifane. As the battle-weary Carcharodons make their stand alongside the Adeptus Mechanicus, horrors and nightmares raining down around them, the Space Marines must confront their place within this new Imperium, and destroy the hulk before Diamantus is lost.

We need more stories covering the Carcharodons!!!
Narration was great and the story was intense. I really hope there is more emphasis put on the faction going forward. Would 100% recommend the trilogy to anyone.

The Faction, the Lore, the Characters

An unexpected turn for the end of a trilogy, but a strong story with new and returning characters. It makes me love the cast and appreciate their lore in a whole new light.

Unexpected, but Awesome

This is a story about redemption and perseverance. I really enjoyed how it was essentially three stories that came together. The cultural aspects of the Space Sharks are very appealing. Great book!

This books knocks it out of the park maybe even better than the first two. The inter imperium politics was well done, not too much and a great covering of vashtor and the way their cult works. I quite liked all the space hulk bits, as well as the narrator.
I think that the book really does well with keeping things going at a good pace, as well as not getting too bogged down in the action scenes that alot of black library books can.

I think Shogo Miyakita really hit his stride here, in previous books ive been rather meh to dissapointed on his work, but i think this is his best stuff yet. His narrations especially is really well done here, and his voicework is pretty good too.

Overall, Robbie is consistently one of my favorite black library authors and keeps that track up here.

Really great continuation of the carcharodons.
