Another solid addition to the aeronautica sub genre. If you’ve finished gaunts ghosts and the double eagle spin offs then you’ve got half the story style down already. HOWEVER, get-in-and-get-out stories are always fun as things escalate.

Suprise after surprise

Very well written novel. The characters were interesting and had great depth. The fight scenes were amazing and put you on the edge of your seat. The voice work was one of the best, with each character having different voices, tones, and accents. All with the horrors of war. Highly recommend

Fun Adventure

A really fun and exciting story with a some grim dark surprises and ending. I really enjoyed the look into the imperial aeronautica.

Narrator is amazing but the writing is not. Refunded after about 2/3 the way through.

Emma Gregory nails another performance, I had no problems with the audio or anything.

But the writing was really lackluster. Despite the synopsis given, there was very little aerial excitement. Soldiers pretty much did whatever they wanted and told commissars to eat dirt, and stuff like that kept pulling me out of the story. Felt like a fanfic.

If you are looking for a thrilling aerial combat story, look elsewhere. I got about 2/3 the way through it and returned it.
