Gut Busting Good Time

A knock out and fun novel. Had me laughing at so many spots, I had tears rolling. Definitely the best buy to start the new year!!!!

Entertaining

I have read and loved every book from Max Monroe who for me are the queens of romantic comedy. However, I am not a huge fan of love triangles so I was a little wary going into Cluelessly Yours based on the blurb.
 
This is single mum Sammy Baker’s story and to say it was complicated is an understatement. This is a story that you need to go into blind. Yes, I had a what the outcome would be but the journey certainly had its ups and downs and I was surprised on several occasions.
 
The narration by Elizabeth Louise and Sebastian York was entertaining. Their voices are easy to listen to and they brought the passion and humour to life. They certainly did justice to the characters and the story that Max Monroe wove.

Not a simple romance

These characters really go through some ups and downs throughout this book. At times I definitely questioned how things were going to turn out and if we were going to get an HEA…but rest assure you will be satisfied with the outcome:)

a very cute listen

I liked the love story and twist. However I have to say what distracted me a little bit was the awful behavior of Sammy's sons. There is trying to be funny and then there is too far where you have to wonder if they were ever given consequences in their little lives. Im a pretty lax free range type of parent but these boys would have been on a eeal tight rope and learn some boundaries. I will always one click Max Monroe books as they are fun easy listens with the best HEAs.

Emotional roller coaster

Lil bit to long starting out, took to long to get to the meat of the story, but once there, it was a great read

Not as charming or as funny a story as some of their other stories but a worth while listen.

I couldn’t stop listening!

I have previously read Accidental Attachment and Best Frenemies so I was excited about Sammy’s story. I receive the authors’ newsletter and they had included a teaser a few weeks ago, which had me hooked from the start! The audiobook somehow released before the ebook and I couldn’t wait, so I signed up for Audible. This book was SO good! I don’t give 5 stars very often but this book deserves it and the audio performance was perfect. I don’t always love the voices of the actors in audiobooks but these two were GREAT.

The story was so compelling and I couldn’t wait to figure out what was truly going on! I did laundry one night in my bedroom just so I could listen and not be interrupted by my family. 🤣

I highly recommend this book! You don’t need to read the other two books because they are all standalones (you won’t be lost if you skip them) but I do recommend them. If you love romance, hilarious inner monologue, have a soft spot for hot mess single moms and handsome doctors, this is the book for you!

This is the 3rd book in this series, and it's an interconnected stand-alone. I did not need to read the prior 2, but I damn well plan on it.

This is the very first Max Monroe book that I have ever read, & it won't be my last. This was excellently written with the perfect amount of drama, romance, realism, and intrigue.

The FMC, Sammy, is a single mom of two young children, recently divorced but trying to put herself first every once in a while. Every mom should try to do this, but it's not always easy. Mine is 12 now, and my husband & I haven't had a date in 3 years or more. Anyways . . . She dates this guy who seems perfectly acceptable until he's not. All while the Hot Doctor, Noah, that is friends with her sister, keeps showing up for her in ways she didn't even know that she needed.

I very much enjoyed Noah & Sammy's little "Grandpa & Grandma" banter. It was lively, sweet, fun, and wholesome.
Now, the romantic entanglements behind closed doors were less than wholesome. I loved the use of the on call rooms & how Max referenced popular television shows to give the reader a glimpse into what she was thinking.

Loved it!!

Max and Monroe continue to knock it out of the park! Noah is so swoon worthy. This one had the added bonus of some twists and turns that were entirely unexpected. Great read! Also, I have been dying for a Max Monroe book narrated by Sebastian York! Talk about turning the swoon up to 11!!

The prologue had me hooked!

I really enjoyed this story and the twist and turns. A great follow up to the first book. I loved the ending and narration.
