Publisher's Summary

This book is unique in that it's about creating new money. It's not about how to save, invest, or hoard your money when you retire; it is about building a new income stream. It is not earning money off your investments, retirement funds, and Social Security but creating new money! Essentially, starting simple with small businesses, and in some cases using your existing hobbies to create money-making ventures.

There are several business plans laid out in this book that are tailored to the retiree - someone who has some free time, a little ambition, and who could use some extra income. When people retire, many folks suddenly realize that living on a fixed income is not what they imagined. Yes, they don't have to get up and go to work each day but they also have to often watch their spending very closely. If in retirement, a person could make as little as $200 to $300 more per month of new money, it could make a huge difference. They could play a few more rounds of golf or go out to dinner just a little more often. They could buy gifts for the grandkids. Essentially, they could do all the normal things they would have done when they were working and earning a wage.

Use this book as a guide to start your own small business when you retire. Provided are new ideas on what to do for your small business, how to acquire customers, and how to keep customers coming back for more. This book has 33 chapters of ideas from how to sell your crafts at an art fair, how to build a business on organizing others, to how to become a driver for such companies as Uber or Lyft.

Do you like gardening? There is a business model in this book that'll put your green thumb to work making yourself some extra cash. How about photography? Now that you are retired you have the time to pursue your passion and earn some side money. The newest lenses and camera bodies don't come free, so why not earn enough new money to pay for your new equipment? Make your hobby pay of itself. This book will show you how.
