cute, but where’s the rest?
Nice YA story of Alison’s second semester at school that talks about her growing powers and those of Izzie. Add in a Valentines dance, an April Fools prank, and kittens and a horse foaling. The prank was cute.
There is some kicking of dark power butt; again, not well developed. Did they follow through on the quarantine to search for balls of dark magic in students?
Rudd does a decent job of narration.

Bright is Her Light
Was disappointed in this book, was expecting more about Allison. I am wondering if I get the next book will I be disappointed. Mmmm ok I will try one more book to see if you can get me hooked to keep going. Loved the Brown Stone books can’t wait for the next book. Was also looking for the Shay series but so far I seem to be out of luck on that series
