Seven years later in Miami, Florida, Paul receives a call from Chief in Siesta Beach Sarasota, Florida to "Come See My Bar." Upon arrival he discovers Hibiscus and Blackbeard the Parrot are employees of Chief's new bar. The mystery of the voodoo princess deepens as Paul deals with Chief's medical issues and running the bar. "Murder from Afar" highlights the power of Hibiscus and lends credence to her claims of the reincarnation of Edward Teach.
