Fantastic!!

Words can't express how much I loved this one in audio! Piper Scott and Virginia Kelly are two of my favorite authors and did a lovely job with this one, the second in the Forbidden Desires series. Michael Ferraiuolo is a master narrator and is the perfect choice for this series!

humor with heart

This series gets more intriguing and addicting with each book. Harry was a sweet wildcard and really cracked the rough exterior Everard had right to his heart. Minor miracles do happen!!! I laughed, I sighed, I waited in anticipation and anxiety. Each character becomes more endearing as the story progressed. The narrator did a fantastic job bringing the characters and story to life.

Listen for the nicknames alone!

This was such a fun listen, Harry saw something he shouldn’t have seen, so he has to be dealt with. In comes Everard to deal with the situation. He is all set to crisp the little beta but………..things veer off course a bit. (A lot actually) there are nicknames, so many questions , An iguana who likes to dress up, a voice in Harry’s head that tells him the strangest things and a dragon who would do anything for his lamb chop.

Narrators only thing that made this story!!!!!

This was a cute, but forgettable beach read! Would have not finished or if did skim it for sure if not for audiobook version!! Was very amateur writing style—-way too cheesy & cliques! Felt no connection with either of the main characters sadly!!!! The story flowed nicely due in large part to the talented narrators bringing this story some much needed perspective! Granted I am a sucker for a British accent!!!! Definitely can sense the connection to each other loved that, but not as a reader like they still felt 2D—why should I care/invest in them or their journey!!!! It was hallmark-y sappy at times & predictable! Won’t be reading/listening to the sequel of this one!!!!

Baby dragons!

I so adore this entire series! Dragons and mates and baby dragons all over the place. Harry is absolutely adorkable and his chatter made me lol or snort coffee more than once. Everard is so proper and Harry shakes that up in a wonderful way. And Michael is definitely one if the best audiobook narrators out there hands down.
