Seriously?

This is a truly trivial guide as written by a high school shop student. It has entire chapters on nonsense like figuring out where to assemble your build area—including extensive detail on why your living room or bedroom won’t be great spaces for blade making. An entire chapter is spent discussing workbench design etc. An idiot would find this text insultingly simplistic.

When discussing quenching we find the key concerns include how environmentally damaging brine and oil are. The small volume of brine needed is described as toxic if poured into the ocean.

Spend a few hours skimming basic internet boards and avoid this reader. This fellow reading is shown on Wikipedia as the definition of patronizing. His singsong tone combines with the trite sayings in the text to make me want to slap the dude. Seriously, how does a “book” like this get written and published let alone made on Audible.

I can’t make it thru this and will request my credit back. Unless you have never seen a knife, have no idea what a “shop” is, and like to be talked down to by someone of very low knowledge, I’d suggest avoiding this “book”. In fact, it really seems like a high-school paper written for an English class.

I can find nothing redeeming in this text.
