Whether we’re focused on the apocalypse or just an ill-timed breakdown on the side of a particularly remote road, there’s something about imagining survival scenarios that can be addictive. On some level, we all wonder if we would have what it takes to pit ourselves against the worst the world can possibly offer and make it out alive. That’s why it’s no surprise that survival literature is so popular, and that the stories in the genre are so diverse.

As my title says, this book would be better if it’s on paper or on kindle.

great for the basics

I recently reviewed the second book Advanced Bushcraft and I love that one as well. I learned a lot more than I thought I would from reading a book by a guy I saw on Discovery Channel who was supposed to know a lot about survival. You never know what you're going to get. but it didn't take long to figure out this guy's the real deal. I've been reading survival books for 20 years and with good ones like this you always learn a few things you had never thought of which always helps to go into the storage data of the Mind.

very useful and easy to understand

the narration is clear, but you will still probably need the PDF of visuals. I didn't rate the story because there is none.

A great guide

Very informative, but better to have the written guide as an available resource instead of the audio. Very technical step by step. Excellent.

This book is not the art of wilderness survival, but the art of wilderness camping.

Good intro into the topic

Good, thorough and easy to understand but I feel like this is the sort of book I would have been better off getting a physical copy. Not really a criticism but North American focussed and should say this in the title if I'm honest. Hard to get Aussie relevant info. Like for example, our wood makes carrying an axe a bit obsolete and you would be better off with a saw. I think his advanced bushcraft book suffers more though because it has a whole section of wood types only found in North America. Still interesting though and only a minor criticism if anything
