Publisher's Summary

11 Weird & Crazy Paranormal Accounts That'll Creep You Out.

We live in a world full of mystery, every single aspect of our lives is steeped in it. Even though human civilization and our mastery of science has allowed us to spread to every corner of the physical world, much remains unexplored and unexplained.

Even further less explored is a realm familiar to all in name, but unfamiliar in direct experience. This is the realm of the supernatural, or as some refer to it, the paranormal. Each year thousands of people across the globe experience that which they cannot explain.

These occurrences, often labelled as hauntings, possessions, or abductions, are well known by the masses. Yet, many believe these phenomenon to be the ravings of people gone mad.

What follows in this audiobook are 11 of the most bone chilling, mind twisting, and bizarre tales to have ever been documented. These tales are not for the faint of heart, nor are they for those with weak stomachs. Every passing day, tales just like these happen to thousands of people everywhere in the world.

The realm of science has no explanation yet for these events. Though the small community of paranormal investigators does continue to break new ground, they too remain in the dark. Like the rest of us, waiting in the dark for something to jump out and grab us. We wait for dawn to break and give us respite from the things that go bump in the night.

Here is a preview of what's inside:

  • The Demon House of Indiana
  • The Popobowa
  • The Devil's Bible - word of Satan or clever hoax?
  • Dog or Man? They walk upon hind legs and howl as dogs
  • The Caleuche
  • The Wasetka Wonder, the tale of America's first documented possession
  • And much, much more!

Great Collection of Haunted Stories

I really enjoyed this book. I actually listened to it twice. I would say the first half were fairly well know stories to people who watch a lot of ghost shows. The second half had stories about things that I had little to no knowledge about which made this a well rounded collection for me. I really liked the style of writing in this one compared to some of other Max Mason Hunter's books. It felt more personal and matter of fact than anecdotal, which is something that makes the stories more interesting. Kevin Theis has a perfect voice for narration. I have listened to a wide range of stories told by him and he never disappoints. I really enjoy the sound of his voice and the energy he puts into telling each story. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.

This is not a typical anthology.

This book is not what I expected. I expected an anthology compilation of made up horror stories but this was more a book of famous stories that are presented as facts and read like an old time news program. So weird and unexpected.

Outstanding

Loved the narrator great voice wonderful inflection. Each and every story told was well said and well told. Rather you choose to believe them is totally and utterly up to you. It does make you stop and think and ponder. Not a very long listen but its still very good. If you scare easily don't listen to this at night. Otherwise knock yourself out. Enjoy

Interesting stories

I didn't care as much for the narration style of this book. It was hard for me to pay attention to the stories since it sounded more like a newscast. The ones I did hear were interesting.
