So incredibly hottttt

By far one of the best series I have listened to! The erotica is so spectacularly written. While I normally lean on the darker sides of smut, this was absolutely a book I would not only recommend to everyone but one I would listen to again!!! As a practitioner of BDSM and D/s in my everyday life, I have a huge appreciation for the accuracy in kink as well as the sensational way Mark cared so much for his pets. Safewords, check ins, aftercare, alllllllll the amazingness!!!!!

Mark is Home!

This book was 1000% worth staying up till 1am for - no regrets. 10/10 recommend. Sierra Simone gave us an epic conclusion to the Lyonesse series. Getting into Mark’s was everyrhinf I hoped it would be.

You will go through the all the emotions and the hangover is real!

Impeccable Final Chapter

The Lambs have waited an awfully long time for the final book in this story, and Sierra Simone - as usual - did not disappoint. Bitter Burn is spicy, angsty, action-packed, guilt-ridden, and all the things one expects from her incredible books. I devoured it on the edge of my seat!

Oh Mark!

Sierra knocked this one out of the park. It was so beautiful to finally get to see the inside of Mark. I never truly found him unrepentant or unfeeling. This book was so deep and emotional. Sierra really knows how to induce a horrible book hangover. And that cameo had me clutching my nonexistent pearls!

Great Ending!

I wish this had been duet instead of dual. There are times listening to female portray male or vice versa takes away from the experience.

It starts out a bit slow but it gets so much better. I do LOVE Mark. Chapter 28 is just over the top, OH LA LA! Great series!

I also love the crossover story with Max, Ash and Greer.

At the end we get a Ryan Bell sighting!

The plot is complex and riveting. The writing is exquisite. What a wild ride! I couldn’t put it down…and now I’m ready to read it again.

Sooo happy to have Mark’s POV, and no one could have delivered it quite like Jacob Morgan. His performance as well as Oscar and Isabelle’s were amazing and really brought the emotions out the pages. This book is one of my favorites of 2025, the storyline was everything! It’s bittersweet to have it come to and end, but that epilogue?!?! No words!!!

Best narration by Jacob Morgan I have ever heard!!

If you've made it to the third book, you know what type of story you are in for, so I don't think I need to advise on that aspect. It's kinky and filthy and full of heartache and passion. So. Many. Secrets!! Like, wheew!
I always love Jacob's narration, but I have to say, this is THE best I have heard from him. He just nailed it, the changes of inflection and tone throughout, just amazing! From whispers to Demands, with a cheeky cocky bravado, he brought Mark to life. You love him, and you hate him.
Well done series!

A wonderful finale to another must read series

Sierra Simone does it again!!!!!!! Spice 4/5. While all the narrators were amazing Jacob Morgan added something special to this final installment of the Lyonesse Series. His portrayal of Mark was perfection. This story was beautifully written. A perfect balance of romantic and erotic. Her writing style allows the reader to really feel like they are peaking through a window inside the most intimate parts of her characters hearts and minds. The yearning, angst, heart ache, love, and desire are so much more powerful in her stories because of it. Not only that but the twists and turns of the mystery portion of the plot were very well done and kept the story engaging throughout. While you don't have to have read any works other than this series earlier books to fully enjoy the story, the references to her other series and some of the characters from those stories were such a fun addition to the reading experience. As always her work is emotional, thought provoking, and powerful.

Absolute Perfection

It's been a long time since a book and series has had me in such a chokehold. This entire series was absolute perfection. The characters, plot, SPICE?! Good lord chapter 26 might be the best smut I've ever had the please of listening to 🔥🔥🔥🥵 I'm so happy we got such an amazing ending to this story. Highly recommend.
