Perfection from Teddy & Jacob!

- Plot - Fans of the Walsh Associates crew are in for a treat with this glimpse into the private life of Tom, Shannon’s assistant turned Managing Director of Operations. We discover the history behind Tom’s quirks and need for control. We also take a deep dive into Wes’ Navy SEAL psyche. The progression of their relationship is one of the sweetest I’ve read. The personal growth of both characters and their journey toward a HEA is heartwarming. Plus: although secondary in this title, the Walshes bring plenty of the shenanigans we know and love!

- Narration - Jacob and Teddy are newcomers to Canterbary’s tales and they fit right in. Jacob’s masterful comedic timing is *chef’s kiss* and guarantees you’ll be laughing out loud. Teddy is perfectly matched with Wes’ sarcasm and laid back attitude. The dynamic duo of MM audio, you’ll enjoy every moment of their passionate, playful performance. In a special treat with one chapter each, Christian Fox and Lucy Rivers return as Will and Shannon, offering advice and support to our heroes.

- The Heat - My first Canterbary MM, I was curious how she would approach intimacy. In their first scene, I expected more prep, but overall, the passion was genuine, with plenty of heat. This couple’s dirty talk game is strong: “I want you to jog your hot (bleep) up the stairs, get rid of your clothes and decide where you want to (bleep).” - Wes. Don’t worry- the tenderness isn’t lacking in any way.

- Style - As usual, Ms. Canterbary knows what we want and she gives it to us, including thorough character development, a complete plot progression and plenty of playful banter. You’ll be transported into the story as the vivid details play like a movie in your head. Another gem in Ms. Canterbary’s catalog, I’m looking forward to more of her MM in the future.

Good story!💜

This was a good story. In one way I was a little disappointed
that it’s wasn’t as military as I thought it was supposed to be. In another way I was very pleasantly surprised (because clearly I didn’t read the blurb correctly lol) that this was a MM gay romance.
I enjoyed the storyline overall but felt it lacked the WOW factor but I don’t know why exactly.
The narration was absolutely fantastic, the performance by all the narrators was amazing.
This is a standalone with an HEA.

Sisters Spotlight 💜

I love, love, love these boys!

Sometimes it takes a few chapters to get hooked by a story, to become invested in the characters, to even decide if I will like the book at all. Not so with this one. I was in love with these men and rooting for them from their very introduction!

I always enjoy the narration of Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan (by whatever name he uses), but in this story Jacob stole the show for me. With his ability to portray strength in vulnerability, optimism through fear, and always the humor, he really brought these characters to life. I could see these men while I listened. My highest compliment for writing and narration. Excellent! Five stars.

Kate Canterbary is a new author to me. I will definitely look for more books by this author.

This one easily makes it onto my top ten favorites list!

Omg love love love

I flipping LOVED this story.

Fabulous storyline. Great play in with the other books but if you haven’t read them (like me) it’s no big deal.

I think Wes and Tom might be my new favorite couple ever. They complimented each other so well and their banter was adorable.

Plus this narration was FIRE! Teddy and Jacob are my new favorite MM narration power couple

Good story

Well that was a really good story. very entertaining and attention holding. Bonus, it's Teddy and Jacob with a little help. military, spy coming out romance with a few nice tweaks and turns. very enjoyable!! well worth the credit and your time to listen.

I don’t get it

This book got high reviews. Why??? The narration was ok but the story sucked donkey balls. I don’t get it. It rated really high. It the story really sucked. It was really bad. No connection between the two MCs. I wouldn’t pay for this book

Good story Great narration

Come for the story stay for Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan.

The plot is pretty standard. Two guys with issues meet and start sleeping together. Eventually everything goes to shit. They spend too long being broken and shit until they talk to a family member who makes them open their eyes. They get back together and have their HEA.

Forget the run of the mill plot and cookie cutter characters. The narration is 100% worth the credit spent on the book.

Magnificent

This book is filthy, fun, and fabulous. The narrators did an extraordinary job if conveying the emotions and passion in this book. I was immersed in Tom and Wes's world from start to finish!

EXQUISITELY PERFECT!

I simply loved every second of this broken and inspiring story.
An amazing love story with struggles and limitations but the overcoming of adversity and their past was so compelling and heartwarming.

The Narration was exceptional 👌

Perfection

Before I listened to this I had already read the book last year and it was one of my top five reads for 2020. When a clip was released and announced that it would Jacob and Teddy with Lucy and Christian (who narrated the entire Walsh series) narrating these, I just about lost it in the best way possible. I couldn’t have imagined anyone but Jacob to be Tom, and he was perfect. While Teddy wouldn’t have been my first choice for Wes, he did a fantastic job. Teddy and Jacob are quite the duo. The one thing that disappointed me was I thought this would be duet narration based on the clip. I thought Lucy would have done on the female voices and the Christian would have done Will, and Walsh male, and the Commodore. That’s not what this was. There was one chapter from the POV of Shannon and Will each. This would have been 10 stars if performed in duet, which also would have costed the author a lot of money.

This book is a standalone, but if you're familiar with the author's Walsh series, then you know that Wes has popped in briefly here and there, and that Tom has straddled the line of a secondary/tertiary character being Shannon's right hand man and all. However, with that said, these characters were even greater than I imagined, and what information I already had about them did not at all prepare me for their personalities, their thoughts, and their actions. Tom was so sassy and dare I say dominate, and Wes, who I expected to be hard and cool, was tender and warm.

Be ready for an emotional rollercoaster of finding love, self acceptance, tough love, tender physical interactions, and seriously steamy sexy times. I'm hoping future stories within the Walsh universe will bring us updates of Tom and Wes's beautiful story.
