Great entertainment

What did you love best about It Takes Two?

Enjoyed hearing it narrated by the two brothers, Jonathan and Drew. Having their parents,brother JD and close friends speak was an extra bonus. All in their own voices---that is the best because you feel like they are in the room with you. I kept trying to picture who was who because I didn't have the hairstyles to distinguish them like on TV---subtle differences in their voices but no red or white ribbons to distinguish them like in their martial arts classes when they were little boys.

What did you like best about this story?

I watch the Property Brothers show and enjoy their personalities so it was fun to learn about their upbringing and how their parents molded and motivated their lives at an early age. These two have been involved in so many things beyond HGTV!!

Which scene was your favorite?

Really enjoyed that while one brother was telling about his life path, the other would interject the usual taunt or playfulness that you see on the TV show. It was very entertainig and not just a long talk by one and then the other. The back and forth really made it much better.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Absolutely----I listened to the book in two days and would love to have heard more. This made me appreciate their show even more knowing about the other things they are involved in and some of their core beliefs in life. Just the kind of people you want to share a coffee with or invite over to dinner.

Any additional comments?

This book could be put into several categories: entertainment, motivation, having a positive outlook and How to Succeed. I learned a lot of things about the family and Jonathan and Drew but most of all it was just a FUN listen and fast pace was wonderful. I usually buy some pretty serious books, always want to learn but this was pure enjoyment.

What a pleasant surprise to find out these guys aren't just a couple of pretty faces with slick personalities. So much more to them than meets the eye, so to speak. Thoroughly enjoyed. 3/12/18

loved getting to know the Property Brothers a little better. Their story was fun, interesting, and at times surprising. I would recommend it.

Double Exposure

Inclusively narrated in parts, by nearly every member of the Scott Clan and friends.
Fans will love the stories and details that help form the Scott Brothers growing up and the values that halmark them as adults. Hang in for the last chapter for some interesting reveals not even the best production company could invent!

Inspirational, sweet & funny 😹

So...I've never watched Property Brothers. I thought I should mention that because I am giving this book a five star rating.

I honestly couldn't tell the two brothers apart while listening, but I loved their perspective and their stories. I laughed quite often and cried a few times. That rollercoaster of emotions that they evoked in me is why I'm overjoyed to have given a book about two handsome Hufflepuffs - I am calling it, I don't know for sure, but that is the vibe I get - a go.

If you are in search of something inspiring and funny, I think you'll love this story.

Ejoyed the Brothers

An entertaining look into twins Jonathan & Drew's world. I'm a fan of the various Property Brothers shows, so I took a chance when this book came up on the daily deal special. I'm happy I did. There was nothing earth shattering revealed in this book, but there were a few things I didn't realize or know before about their early life. It was an entertaining escape from reality. If your a fan of any of their shows you'll probably like the book. If you don't know who they are, perhaps you won't find it as entertaining, but it's still a solid autobiography.

we could all learn a thing or two from the Scott brothers about behaving. I find just listening to them helps me focus and be decent. I only wish they wrote, and read, as if they were talking with us rather than reading letters.
