Publisher's Summary

'Guardiola has no balls. He drove me like a Fiat...I'm a Ferrari', Zlatan Ibrahimovic - professional football's most mercurial player, Swedish national hero, tabloid fixture, fashion icon, modern-day philosopher and black belt in Taekwondo.

Born to a Muslim father from Bosnia, and a Catholic mother from Croatia, Zlatan recounts his extraordinary life story, from his poverty-stricken upbringing as an immigrant in Malmö, Sweden, to becoming one of the world's most sought-after and expensive players, gracing Europe's finest clubs, from Ajax to Juventus, Internazionale to Barcelona, Milan to Paris Saint-Germain, and now Manchester United.

I Am Zlatan reveals a rare and ferocious intelligence, willpower and God-given talent most recently exhibited when Zlatan scored all four goals for Sweden in a 4-2 victory against England. His fourth goal, a 30-yard overhead kick with his back to goal is widely regarded as one of the greatest goals of all time.

The BBC described it as a goal that 'combined unfathomable imagination and expert technique'.

Terrible narration!

Why get an English guy to read the Zlatan story? Swedes speak English very well. A Swedish reader would have done far greater justice than Hillier. The story was brilliant, the narration was a total let-down!

Great insight!

What did you like best about this story?

Great background info of Zlatan's upbringing and show's why his temperament is what it is, as opposed to just being 'arrogant'.
Great insight into not only his personal upbringing but the clubs he was at, his views on certain players and managers ..... he definitely doesn't like Guardiola!!

Hopefully there'll be a further release covering his time at PSG and Man Utd

Zlatan is cocky

But he has the right to cause he proved it.

But since he puff himself out too much, towards the end I feel a bit of his cockiness.

The readers is superb. Sometimes I forgot it was NOT Zlatan reading his own book (maybe the accent helped a lot :)

Talking the talk

Great listen, thoroughly enjoyed it. It jumps back and forward through Zlatan's career at times but offers good insight into the clubs, players, managers and agents he's worked with. You gain insight into a true winner's mindset, he's walked the walk and now he's talking the talk.
