I was given this book in exchange for an unbiased review via audiobook boom. This was a quick listen and gave me more details about Mrs. Clinton. I have followed her career since she first appeared on the scene as the First Lady. She is a remarkable woman and I am sorry that she lost but the country got what it asked for. Now I wonder if that old adage will come true. Be careful what you ask for you just might get it. She will continue to do the works that God has her here on earth to do. Wonder what the next book about her will disclose.

As disappointing as Hillary's long push to be America's first female president turned out to be for her supporters, here the listener will find no trace of what was to come. Published before the "great upset," the narrative inhabits a world where Hillary the Candidate exists whole and intact; as such, it's tone is optimistic, and the author does a nice job of highlighting and celebrating Hillarly's accomplishments, many of which listeners might find enlightening, such as her historic speech in China on women's rights.
As might be expected, at just over an hour, the book simply doesn't have time to go into much detail about any particular aspect of her life, but it does manage to present the highlights (and even a few of the lowlights). Concerning her involvement in various political scandals (Whitewater, private email server, etc.), the perspective here is more-or-less biased in favor of Hillary, but at least the scandals are not ignored altogether, which leaves the listener free to decide whether or not to do further research.
In short, here is a professionally-narrated, short-and-sweet, pro-Hillary biography that offers listeners a quick overview of Hillary's life without editorializing. If you decide you are a fan of this format, the author has written a slew of similar ones on the other 2016 presidential candidates, and although by now probably you have lost interest, for now these tiny bios all are available for download right here on Audible.
Reviewer note: This book was provided to me gratis for review purposes.
This was an excellent summation of the relevant life and accomplishments of Hillary Clinton. It begins with her year in college, guides you through her early career and her relationship with Bill, and brings you into the modern day. Everything important is covered, including the various controversies and scandals faced by her and her husband. The book is quite surprisingly non-partisan and neither demeans or inflates her image, only presenting factual information.
This book was short enough that you can listen in the time it takes to drive to work or clean the house, and covers all of the relevant information most people would want to know.
The narration was decent and I would enjoy hearing the narrator again.
I received a free copy of this audiobook from the author, publisher, or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review. I was NOT required to write a positive review and this reflects my honest opinion of the work.
