Another great book in this series!!
I’m so in love with some of these characters and some them irritate me, and over course some are down write evil!! I love Rainier and Emmaline so much. I really love Dawalt too. Cyran and Elora are okay, but they growing on me. Lavenia is the one I really cannot stand!! The rest are either “meh, alright” or downright evil. I love some of the dragons so much.
This is an amazing fantasy, with something always going on! There were some shocking surprises and I’d say this story definitely keeps you on your toes!
If you enjoy Romantic Fantasy with lots of adventure, Sword Fighting and DRAGONS!! Then you will love this series!! Check it out now! I’m looking forward to book 3!!!

That was A LOT!
Holy crap, so much stuff happened! I love the way trauma was dealt with in this book. We got to grow and heal alongside them. I love the character growth and the way relationships are evolving. This storyline is insane! Of course I love the love, but THE STORY 😱 there is so much going on right now with so many people in so many places! I have so many questions! Lavinia???? THAT whole thing is one giant question mark! 👀 I wont lie, I cried towards the end. Like I physically felt a pain in my chest. I didn't know just how much this character meant to me until that moment. Love this series! Absolutely obsessed!

I love these books but struggle with the female actors
This is my second time with this book, first time was hard copy. Main female reads well, does voices well, but whines/draws out far too many of her words so she’s hard to listen to. Lavinia’s voice actor is again a good reader, but the voice she uses for Lavinia is awful. All of a sudden she’s southern when her brother has had no hint of southern at all either book and they grew up together. It’s very off putting and is my least favorite part of listening to these books. The male actor is fantastic.
Story is great, some sex but not tons compared to many others.
