Publisher's summary

In light of the coronavirus pandemic, many states and municpalities have deemed the church unnecessary. How did this happen? Why did this happen? The answer is simple and twofold. We have lost our vision and are not being “salt and light” to a hurting and dying world. Therefore, the church has not been doing the good works we were called to in our salvation. This book is a challenge to the church of God to dare to have dreams and visions, so we can be the “salt and light” needed in the world today.

Great Read. A Deep Dive With Great Illustrations.

Really good listen. Finished it in one afternoon. A lot of great examples of how God used ordinary people in His Word to do extraordinary things when they trusted Him.

The author also gives detailed descriptions of how to put a plan in place to use the gifts God has blessed you with.

We are beautifully reminded that God has created each one of us as he created a snowflake. Each completely different but relevant for His Purpose.

The entire book is bathed in Scripture and offers plenty of depth. It was also great to be reminded of the "Epic" people in the Bible who were not born that way, but trusted God to the point that we are STILL talking about their Epic lives today as a roadmap for us to follow in their steps.

God wants you to dream big!

I just finished "Becoming God's Epic: Fulfilling Your Purpose in Christ" by Billy M. Murchison, Jr. He's not a household name, but this book is as good as any big name Christian author out there. Dream big! We serve a big God! I recommend this book to anyone who feels like God may be calling them to something new, or who feels stuck in their current job, or who wants to attempt something big. God is the one who gave you that vision and He will help you see it through.
