Robert's journey continues, but not as planned. Removed from Earth, Robert Williams arrives in Oakhaven with his new student, Elara. Book 2 sees Robert solidify his foundation, Start to build a home, and delving into the lucrative art of Enchanting. As Elara begins her own rapid magical development thanks to Robert's unique Teaching skill, Robert grapples with local politics, establishes vital connections, and crafts powerful artifacts. However, external forces take notice, and a devastating attack forces Robert to unleash world-shaking spells, escalating the stakes and drawing the attention of powerful figures across the kingdom and beyond. The path of the Forerunner grows steeper and more dangerous.

Now I need to go out and get the next book after reading this one. I have found it to be an excellent book and didn’t fall back into the overly slaughter fest or too much into the casual daily grind. Overall, it was a fairly good book and I look forward to the next one.

Excellent second book!

the story is a simple man who is selected to be earth's forerunner and the character growth that comes with that. I loved it

real life feeling of OP growth

I like how the MC needs to grind like anyone else to level. Also love how he guides the young ladies whom he takes as students. Would love to see how he handles a male student and I’m really looking forward to the next book! My work place allows me to have one earbud in to listen to audiobooks (or music) and this has been one of my few repeat listens.

How OP the main character is but also how he works for it

So I’m just wondering why there’s strange quotes at the beginning of every chapter. This is the second book and it still feels like the author is directionless

Good but not great

So once again, moron white knight MC. There is very little thought in some of his actions, i thought more would come of it but it didnt happen YET, but he uses his teaching skill on some kids in town and they all unlock powerful classes. He really doesnt hide his teaching skill so its just a matter of time before someone takes notice. Like with the first book there were so many times I had to pause the book just so i would interrupt some of the story so i wouldnt outright quit. For some reason he uses the guildmaster of the adventures guild like a therapist and its like day 1 of being gone from earth. Lots of dumb white knight crap, like this dude has a halo and feathered wings.

(spoiler)

He casts a huge spell at the end of the book that wipes out a whole army. then pisses and moans about doing it. This also doesnt make sense, its not like he didnt have smaller spells he could have used to break the army. Also because of the size of the spell, he kills a bunch of the "good" soldiers that were fighting the invading army. So instead of backlines bombardment, he goes for complete battlefield cleansing. Once again the MC is a moron.

Same as the first book...Liked it and Hated it.
