A wondrous mix of Paramilitary action and Suoernatural elents.

I love, among other things, the concept of a magic user imbibing drugs and alcohol as tribute to his deity.

-Full transparency- I was given a free cooy but would definately have spent my credits on it if I knew what I was getting. these books are addictive!

Truly outstanding!

You see the human side of a reluctant "monster". A rich and highly entertaining series. A very emotional ending which gave the story an even deeper human depth.

A little Disappointed

The overall series is ok. The disappointment lies in the extreme arrogance of the main character. He is new to the supernatural, but denies or acts like the supreme expert

Personal connection

I’m a retired Navy Submariner. I know how it feels to come home to find the loss of a loved one and to have to compartmentalize your life. The loss of main characters and sacrifice of some brought back memories. I have never teared up having read a book, but book 6 did it for me. I fully understand if this review is not shared, could be a spoiler, but Brad should know his stories do make connections.
