great intro into a new and promising series

If you enjoy Brad Magnarella and any of his fantasy based series you will find this book very much to your liking. others will also enjoy the deep roots of the main character in his millitary training and tactics. a good mix of new and old with some nice little twists thrown in. theres also a nice lil guest appearance from someone ;) definately a read!

Home run

Awesome story, awesome characters, awesome narration! Did I mention awesome? If you are a fan of urban fantasy you won’t be disappointed. There really isn’t a whole lot to say other than stop thinking about it and just buy the damn book.

Werewolf?

What happens when things go terribly wrong during an open? Things you don't believe can happen. I enjoyed the story and the narration is superb. I received this audio book for free at my request and voluntarily reviewed.

Just as great as the Prof Croft books!

Over time I’ve collected all of the Prof Croft books and held off on buying these books for when I ran out of all other books to listen to, so glad I did because this book was just as great! Now I will get the rest of the series and happy I have books to listen to while I find other books to listen to. Brad Magnarella has become one of my favorite authors and JPC is definitely one of the best narrator’s!

A Soldier Thrust Into A Mission he didn't ask for

Combat material aside.. The story itself, is pretty good. Jason Wolfe is a man dedicated to his country, his troop, & his woman. When he is sent to a remote location for his "final mission". What he thought might a simple mission, turns into a whole other thing!! Instead, he's thrust into what might be deemed as an age old war between a simple mountain people & other world forces. He unfortunately, is forced to take a side & fight for something that maybe he didn't think was possible, logical or real. In the end.. He takes up arms & begins a journey of unique proportions.
