I wish that the old narrator had stayed with the characters she started with and the new narrator did all the new characters. It would have been so much better

Creepy Beastiality volume

The beginning was really good but the last quarter was creepy. I have a feeling it was meant to be a preachy metaphoric story but it was just too much. Next volume, Solstice bareback on a horse? getting down with a hobgoblin? Or maybe pulling a Gulivers travels.

Characters are evolving, writing g has improved. Great book.

I have nothing bad to say about The Wandering Inn Series. I love the world building and character development. It took awhile but by the end of this book I started to get use to the new narrator. I do miss Andrea's unique way of bringing each character to life but while the change was hard the new narrator is doing the book justice.

Almost stopped the series at book 17

I almost decided I had my fill of Pirataba and the Wandering Inn. The first 8 hours of the book are the students of the Titan of Baleros at sea looking for sunken treasure and being attacked by pirates. These are not major characters in my eyes and their storyline is overly boring. I wish the Titan would just make the trip to Lescore and be done with it

Then we move into an equally boring storyline of the doctor and United Nations Company - didn't count how many hours I had to listen to the selfid pushing for sex and the doctor trying to explain STD's.

This book (46 hours worth) seemed like a transition book for upcoming storylines, only I will forget the transition when that book is finally released. I was happy we finally got Ryoka back. And equally happy Terriarch returned.

Like I said, I nearly gave up on the series - I have so many other unread books in my library and even more that I could read a second or third time and be more entertained than half of this book was - the last half semi-saved the series and I did got ahead and pre-ordered #18. My OCDness is hard to break the need to finish a series.

Great writing

Great writing voice change still getting used to but overall great sometimes you get burnt out on series like this but I keep coming back to new books being completed.
