Crushing Hearts

Loved everything! funny, romantic as hell! you feel all the good and bad emotions throughout the story.

All-time favorite story! Amazing banter/chemistry

I knew these two were somehow going to dethrone Alek and Evan, their chemistry was off the charts even in book 1 and I couldn't wait to see how Skylar broke Bones' icy facade down. Boy was it fun but also vulnerable and heartbreaking at times. I wanted to hug them both, but Bones' past really was rough and I wanted to snuggle him up.

Skylar's personality was absolutely perfect and I thought the narrator did a fantastic job bringing him to life and making his hokes and snark elevated. That's all you really hope for in an audiobook, that you can listen to it and imagine the characters in your head and the performances do them justice. Both narrators did this for Crashing Hearts, one of my favorite ones and I know I will do re-listens as this author puts out more audiobooks from this incredible series. I thought Bones' narrator was fabulous too, I could feel his shields but also the heartache with how his dad continued to treat him, the loss the whole group endured in book 1, etc. I loved how they came together, how Skylar wore him down but it wasn't really that hard of a fight really from Bones, he just had to push back a little before Skylar won the love battle hahah.

This story is full of everything you want in a romance, this author stepped up her game in her 2nd M/M romance and I am so here for more from her. I loved the humor, the tension, the rollercoaster of emotions. Sklyar defended Bones to his dad (so hot, I had to relisten to that scene twice haha) and Bones had to deal with having a lover as a racetrack driver. We get to see more of that in book 2 (compared to book 1). Alek helps get Skylar his dream job and so we go from street racing in book 1 to official racing on a track in book 2. Skylar's teammate is amazing and I can't wait to hopefully get to listen to his HEA (and with his older man wink wink) and I love their friendship and the racing dynamics we get to listen to. The plot in this one keeps you on your toes. There is sabotage running amok and you don't know what is going to happen next. I appreciate that his author, despite writing really steamy romances, doesnt skimp on the plot ever. This one was chock full of great scenes and I didnt want it to end.

If I could give this more than 5 stars I would have. I need this in all the special editions, Skylar and Bones are LIFE! The way their dynamics worked in the bedroom too was so much back and forth. Skylar helps heal Bones and make him feel worthy which was beautiful to see. But Bones is perfect for Skylar too and helps him feel good enough too. Their vulernable moments were just as good as their smexy moments. ALSO loved how Skylar got the apartment in his building hahaha so hilarious, and Skylar's street family was amazing and I hope we get some more glimpses from them in the future. I loved how they protect their own and adopted Bones so easily. And I also want the food haha, it made me starving when I listened haha.

This author needs to keep writing M/M, she does a great job with the relationships and making the reader/listener connect with the characters and root for their happily ever afters. Also loved seeing our favs from book 1 (and missing one of our favs as well). Great job, loved every second of this one!

Skylar & Bones Are 🔥🔥

The 1st book was good but I think I like the 2nd book "Crashing Hearts" even more. I totally loved the dynamic between Bones and Skylar...that scene where someone was pounding against the wall in anger at the noise Bones and Sky were making in one of there many sexy scenes had me laughing my butt off! Both Christian and Emil were great voice actors; but I don't think Christian fit the voice of Bones as well as Emil fit the voice of Skylar. Great story overall, looking forward to more.

Bones and Skylar!!!

I’ve been waiting for this audiobook to come out and it did not disappoint. I love Skyler and Bones so much and I was happy to see them brought to life! This one will definitely be a repeat listen.
