My favorite part of this romance is that he let her be strong. he acknowledged her strength and admired it. not that he wasn't belittle overwhelming and masculinity at times. but in the ways that mattered he allowed Leah to fulfill her destiny. that's what I want to see. a romance that defies the odds and is still a romance that is grounded in mutual respect. excellent book trilogy

The story kept me engaged. You won’t understand this book without the first two. My only gripe with this series is that I really wish the epilogue would have given more of a view of the future of the main characters.

I found myself quietly saying their names today, Gray, Leah, Erik, Emma, Thomas, Janelle… This author does an incredible job swirling each of their perspectives to finalize the building conclusion of this heroic journey. I miss them already and I would love for the journey to be continued. I’m new to this sub genre and was a little surprised by the violence and small amount of romance. I am left wanting more! *wink*
