Intense but hopeful

This one made me feel all the feels. I appreciated the many layers and complicated feelings and relationships. I really worried Faith and Mara wouldn’t make it through - but what a ride. The steamy parts certainly didn’t hurt! Worth the read.

Some stories just stay with you

I read it several months ago and absolutely fell in love with the story. I’m seriously hoping there’s a follow-up from Faith’s point of view—fingers crossed!

The cherry on top? Abby Craden narrates it. That alone made it worth a second listen. Her voice brings so much depth to the characters.

Friends to lovers might just be my favorite trope, and this book nails it. Mara’s journey—her growth, her vulnerability, her strength—was so satisfying to witness. Beautifully written, emotionally resonant, and totally re-listenable.

The relationship

Abby Craden’s narration breathes life into the characters. She makes them 3 dimensional. You really want to hate some of them but the author brings them their finish. What goes around comes around! Good job!

It was good

Overall it was a pretty awesome book, my only complaint is that it goes on a little too long with the… “I know I should have said what I felt, but I didn’t” a little too long for my taste, but I loved how realistic it was, it could be about you, me, some random real world person! And as always Abby Craden is amazing!!!

Such an emotional roller coaster…with some spice!

This was such a well thought out written book by Kellan. She is becoming one of my fav go to authors. Her stories have so much depth and imperfect characters that feel like real people going thru this thing called life. Just trying to fulfill your dreams and finding your true love with vulnerability and having scars that are still trying to heal that were left from past trauma. This is an extremely touching book that lets you see the dark side of humanity but also finding the light in that darkness as well. You should definitely listen to this fabulous story written by Kellan McKnight cause she definitely won’t let you down by not getting any sleep. 😜🌶️🥵

Wonderful story

It was such a wonderful story and the sex scenes were awesome. Abby did a fabulous job as always. She made you feel like you were right in the story. Fabulous all the way around!!

This story was everything I needed it to be and more!! I felt every emotion written into this book and Sadie carried it out FLAWLESSLY! This was an easy 5 stars for me. I related to it more than I'd have liked to, but that's what makes for a great book! Good job. Kellan on this work of art!

WTF

God what is this garbage it skips so much within the story that it’s hard to follow along and the MC is the worst character ever she’s mean to everyone and wonders why her life is SH!t
