Beautifully written and narrated, the combination leads you through a journey of thought and change and what really matters.

wonderful

This was a wonderful story. It has dynamic characters both young and old. It was great to listen to, to sit back and relax.

refreshing storyline

I thought the book had great character development. The voice actor was fantastic. I absolutely loved it.

I enjoy Hill’s characters and dialogue.

The plot was too familiar from her earlier works and from other works. I would like to have had more background on the other characters and a different conflict.

Great story…

This was a thoroughly enjoyable story… and had twist and turns in it that I didn’t see coming… and of course I always enjoy Abby Craden as the storyteller… the ending of the story, left me craving more… so I’m off to find another good book by Gerri Hill…

Thoroughly enjoyable story telling

I really enjoyed listening to this story. It kept me engaged enough that I awaited each chapter like that next chip. And Abby Craden knocked it out of the park again with all her wonderful voices. You ladies make a great team.

.A Good Story With A Nice Ending

I enjoy stories that hold some possibility of truth, and this is one such book. The idea of a controlling husband and a frustrated wife is nothing but great possibilities. Now mix in a retreat for women where the women are awakened to their potential and you have some incredible fireworks! Enter Jonnie, the reporter, sent by the controlling husband to destroy the retreat and see what was being done to the women to make them change so much.
The only trouble with the assignment is… Joannie can’t find any evidence of ‘male bashing’ or any other mind altering stigma’s. Nothing except allowing the women to succeed in games, tasks and challenges.
This is a very good story and worth the credit (or money) to listen to it.

Great book

It has been a while since Gerri Hill’s last book, so I was happy to get it when it came out, and with Abby Carden’s narration who can ask for more, and I was not disappointed, it was a great listen. Loved the changes the characters went through. And the love that snicked on them…

Terrific story.

The narration is perfect. The story is completely engrossing and it s a joy to hear the characters learn and grow.
