Crown of Flames and Ash

Courts of Aetheria, Book 2

By: G.K. DeRosa

Narrated by: Stina Nielsen, Kale Williams

Still reeling from betrayal, my heart battles its own scars as I return to the ruthless Conservatory.

No closer to discovering the truth of my origins and with the rivalry against Arcanum Citadel intensifying, each deadly trial pushes me closer to mastering my mysterious powers, but at a steep cost.

To survive, I must do the unthinkable: team up with the enemy. Reluctantly, I form an alliance with a rival student, and together we uncover a sinister plot that threatens our academy and the entire realm. A powerful, unforeseen adversary looms, intent on plunging us into chaos.

As whispers of war echo through the halls, the fragile peace between the courts teeters on the edge. Amidst this turmoil, I grapple with new feelings for an unlikely ally and my lingering obsession with my forbidden professor, each stolen moment with him a painful reminder of his deception.

With the fate of the realm in my hands, I must choose: unite the courts against this new enemy or let conflict consume us all. In a world where light and shadow collide, only the strongest will prevail, and the secrets I uncover may be our key to survival—or our undoing.

This epic fantasy romance series contains steamy, enemies to lovers, touch her and I'll unalive you vibes, an age gap, and a smoldering slow-burn student/teacher relationship. For mature listeners.

Amazing!

If you don’t like cliffhangers, you will hate these books! What an amazing story! It has everything and a bag of chips!!! Perfect narration made the story even better!!!

Plenty of story and other stuff

I am really enjoying this story line. I do like the wolf and other better but that is because that is what came before. She makes a very good fantasy world for you to dive into and lose yourself for however long you want.

Excellent second book

The ante keeps increasing. Gripping storyline keeps you engaged and interested and the mystery of what truly is going on??? Need to know !!!!

Narration seemed a little better than the first book

I think this is a great story and I’m definitely reading the next book. I wish they would read it in duet instead of the male part and female parts being read each chapter. I think I have been spoiled by the narrator who does Erika K Davies books, her male and female voices are very distinctive. But it is entertaining and the story is worth the read.

OMG!!

This book jus left me hanging lol ! What a great epic story with everything u need in a fantasy book! Best love story ever ! All I know is reign and Aelia better end up together on ima cry 😩😩 cannot wait for the next book ! Brilliant writing !
