the voice

the voice is too fast and annoying. sounds a bit robotic and rushed like it's sped up.

Great spin on Beauty and the Beast

The narrator is super excitable, and though many say she talks too fast- I feel like she narrates how my thoughts fly through my head, lol, so super relatable.

A beauty and the beast better retelling. The author did a great job at that. I love a book that keeps me puzzled. Slow burn but worth it .

Witty FMC

As always the cliff hanger gets me. The witty FMC and her slow falling for the MMC in a Beauty and the beast type retelling with crow elves is fantastic.

It’s a good one

Didn’t think I would like this book but it’s definitely a “page turner” ….love the plot twist. Love the guessing game and the way the author adds more personality & perspective to the characters. I can’t wait til the next book.

Beast or not a beast?

This is a beast & beauty tail. It’s a good book, it starts off a little slow & builds as it goes but by the end I was on pins & nails. I was even in tears at the end. I went straight for book 2 & as doing so noticed book 3 isn’t due to be released until November of this year. I really really hope it drops in audible in November.

Most Unique Retelling I Have Ever Read

OMG this was amazing-I truly am at a loss to describe how much I loved this story! You can't read this book without falling in love with all of the characters! The story was so unique about the curse, that I found myself wondering along with the FMC what would break it because I got so engrossed in it all! I enjoyed that even though she had suffered so much, she persevered through the forced vows and even found new friends too. The Beauty & the Beast theme was there all along, but had plenty of action and truly was a unique story-it wasn't blatant at all. The ending has me needing to read the next book now!

The narrators did such a fantastic job with so much emotional and feeling in their voices. You really felt like you were right there during it all!

The narrators “male” voice is truly awful.

The voices are terrible and keep you from getting absorbed. For some reason the MMC is randomly formally British. She reads it like she doesn’t understand the context of the story.
