A must Read!!!! Great fantasy storytelling with unique approach to this genre. Highly recommend this series!!!

I really like this, it's a solid entry from Marvin and the narrators give a good showing

Engaging pacing of the story, unique characters

The author manages to keep each book fresh and not falling into easy pitfalls of making the story feel like a slog. The story has an interesting pace that makes you want to keep listening.

How did I not see it

Mayrina, Blade of the Samhyne, Rayluna from the Raya Mucaria Academy, THE CROWN TABLEHOLD?! I swear to God, I love this series, but if there is any Tarnished gold or a twink god in the next book, I'm gonna throw a chair. Miyazaki would give this 1/5 for having no poison swamps

Good BUT

Great book but I got some problems with the MC. There is no such thing as a witty comeback with this guy. He does eventually show it through his actions but verbally he gets run over constantly. A few simple words would deescalate or completely change a situation but he's too goofy to say anything. In the first book it slid by as just part of his character, now he's a supposed King it just doesn't fit. I hope he finally start speaking up for himself in the next book
