This book was everything I wanted in a mafia romance—intense, emotional, and totally addictive. Sofiya and Matteo’s story is packed with tension, vulnerability, and that perfect mix of danger and devotion. The arranged marriage trope is done so well here, especially with the added layers of Sofiya’s disability and Matteo’s trauma. Their chemistry is off the charts, but it’s the emotional depth that really makes this one stand out.
Sofiya is such a strong, beautifully written heroine, and Matteo? He’s the definition of broody, possessive, and secretly soft. The way their relationship unfolds—slowly, painfully, and then explosively—is just chef’s kiss. Plus, the writing is sharp and immersive, with just the right amount of spice and suspense.

Narrated by Teddy Hamilton and Lee Daniels, the audiobook is phenomenal. Teddy brings Matteo’s cold intensity and hidden vulnerability to life, while Lee gives Sofiya a voice full of quiet strength and emotion. Their performances are so well-matched, and the dual POV narration makes the story feel even more intimate and powerful.
The audio adds a whole new layer to the experience—every whispered threat, every emotional breakdown, every moment of longing hits harder. If you’re into mafia romance and love a well-produced audiobook, this one’s a must-listen.

ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS I'VE EVER LISTENED TO!!!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!! I don't want to give anything away. But this book affected me long after I stopped listening. It was SO good! The female narrator's voice was PERFECT. PERFECT! The male narrator was SO good too! This book was so well written, the pacing was great, everything flowed so naturally. Just amazing! What a talent this author is!

This story was beautifully performed by both narrators. Teddy can literally do no wrong. It was a great story. I story I didn’t expect to like as much as I did but the narrators really brought it to life for me.

Was pleasantly surprised to find a FMC with a disability and even more delighted to see the consideration taken into the story. An amazing story filled with a beautiful love built on trust and lots of thrilling mafia action.

The female probably has the best female voice I’ve heard on this app.

I love this story and these narrators did an incredible job. Both voices matched their ages and I adored the females voice. I obviously love Teddy’s voice. I found this author on TikTok and so glad I gave it a chance. If you love romance stories with some twist and turn then this will be a great story for you. I love mafia romances and this one didn’t disappoint! Please support small authors and give this amazing story a chance! You will love it.

Surprisingly sweet story

A great story. Beautiful Sofiya appears beaten down by a lifetime of being overpowered, neglected, and under estimated. Dom Matteo fights years to take back and keep his Mafia family. Yet the struggles with his secrets may keep him from seeing his future. You’ll need a scorecard to keep track of all the deceitful alliances and who you can trust. I only wish that Ronin the Irish Mafia leader had a bigger part within the story.
