FINISHED IT...BUT IT WAS BRUTAL

WRITING:
There were several in accuracy in the writing of this story. A big one was in chapter 32 where she was in the shower, then got out but was in it again without any reference she was in it again. Then she got out to throw up, but then drank the full cup of wine again. Didn't make any sense.
Also, the constant inconsistencies of the female lead always soo wishy washy on her feelings and questioning every single move or action was a bit annoying. Yes we can be insecure and emotional. But hers was always and Imean always compromised. The male lead never speaking to her over minor things. It was as if we're trying to build the climax of story but too much back and forth emotions. Very hard to finish when the whole being in the army but really not any danger until the end. Which I'm assuming since I haven't finished it yet. Sorry 😞 writer but this was not that great writing we're use to.

NARRATORS;
Ok I understood the other comments on voice Narration as it was a little difficult with the variations and the male picture on the book cover didn't match the voice to the Narration which is a little difficult for me to listen.

Decent adult romance

Decent adult romance, good development of the characters. A good listen while doing other things, did not encourage me to purchase the other books though.

really good narrators. nice story. no surprises. sweet. I've not read this author before. I might check out Wade's story.

Loved it

I wish I could give this book more than five stars. It really wasn’t an awesome story. Just enough drama. The narration was so good. I’m not sure I’ve ever read anything from this author, but thankfully I listened to this story and now I can’t wait for the next one if I go to the number two book in the series

Enjoyed it

I like the duet narration and I thought both narrators did a good job. I enjoyed the story and really liked the strong male character.

Fictional men are stupid too

This book was tedious at times and the MMC was absolutely unlikable. To be fair with some rearranging this book would have been excellent. The plot and characters were in concept pretty good. If you are trying to win someone over or back you don’t act like the MMC of this book. While there’s an HEA and ok spice this book is full of red flag behaviors. There are some tigger warnings like attempted sexual assault and ghosting.

Had a lot of potential but missed the mark

Story had a lot of potential but the narration did not do it for me at all. The chemistry between the main characters was fair at best. I think with better narration on both the male and female characters this book could have been enjoyable.

love the voice actors and actress... made me cry at the beginning but afterwards made me laugh. beautiful story.
