Praise for The Wind Weaver

"The Wind Weaver is a masterful fusion of epic fantasy and heart-pounding romance, equally relentless in its examination of dark themes as it is in bringing hope and magic to life. Julie Johnson's rich worldbuilding leaves no stone unturned, and her gripping prose takes no prisoners."—Thea Guanzon, USA Today and New York Times bestselling author of The Hurricane Wars

“Julie Johnson creates a unique and addictive world in The Wind Weaver, unlike any other. Whether you're new to Romantasy or Fantasy, or seasoned, you'll find yourself immersed in the complex, beautifully crafted, chaotic and mesmerizing world of Anwyvn.”—Anna Todd, New York Times bestselling author

"From the first chapter I was drawn into a viciously beautiful world of hidden fae and magic. Johnson knows how to weave true enemies-to-lovers tension that will drive you wild in the best ways. The found family and side-characters are equally loveable and I can't wait to see what comes next!"—LJ Andrews, USA Today bestselling author

"A heart-racing, action-packed, swoon-inducing fantasy. Johnson hooks you from the very first page and never lets you go. By then end, you too will be itching to ride into battle alongside Rhya and Commander Scythe."—Kate Golden, author of A Dawn of Onyx

Fantastic start to a series. Just had some pacing issues and could have been shortened. This just felt too long

World building

I guess my expectations for this book were too high because I find myself judging it so harshly. I wanted to love this book but I only liked it - I’m not excited for the next book but I am willing to read the next book to see where this goes…

An okay beginning

The world building in this book was incredible! The character development was great, the burn was SO slow, and my girl JJ is so good at banter, I love it! I almost regret reading/listening to this as soon as it released, because now I have to wait for the next book lol. I can’t wait!

I need more!

This book was so good but I need the second one ASAP. This is definitely a wish list book if you’re waiting for the second one to come out.

Where is book 2?

The story was fine. The evidence in the book was that the FMC is a strong, kind, and witty female character. The delivery of every sentence of by the narrator made this character seem pathetic and whiny and overwhelmed by the slightest of emotions. Not someone who could survive the things she's been through.

Ok story ruined by strange narration choices.
