What a story!

I’ve had this book on my TBR for what feels like forever and I’m so glad I finally read it! Emilia Jae had me hooked from the first few words. I have so many theories for the next books and I can’t wait to dive into them.

The narrators did an excellent job! My only complaint being that I wish they differed in the accents a little more so it’s easier to tell when the pov changes. I found myself having to go back to my listen screen to see who’s pov it was. Overall though I think they did great bringing the story to life!

I could not stop this once I started!! I was so sucked into the story and I can’t wait to see where it goes from here.

Honestly

I love these books they keep you hooked. After a bit in this book you really get drawn in and mannn I can’t let got. The reader for the females breathes a little heavy in the mic here and there but otherwise I think it’s performed well

Disappointing to say the least

I just finished an AMAZING series of books and I picked up this book thinking this book would have a STRONG FMC and nope. She’s supposedly a captain of the Kings guard and she’s the most helpless female there ever was “Woe is me… I’m a bastard daughter of the King”. Save your credit and skip this book.

borderline perfection! It's enemies to lovers, star-crossed mates, badass MFC, fae romantacy.
Trigger warning: that eludes to sexual assault as a 3rd person as well as some groping and attempts to sexualy assault the MFC.

love it, this would be great as a graphic aditubal with different voices. Great listen!

Holy smokes, the emotional whiplash!!

I read this book a while back, but listened to the audio for a re-read. The emotional whiplash was much more intense with the audio!! I love Lia and Jace, and I especially loved the multiple POV from other characters. So well done!! Heading to the next book right now!!

I couldn't stop listening!

Loved this book! It gave me all the feels- joy, hatred, devastation but all balanced and just the right amount. I cant wait to dive into book 2!

It says romance but the whole time I was mad

Not mad at the book, I actually think for an enemies to lovers the relatively slower pace didn’t seem so fast it’s like damn okay? And it wasn’t so slow I’m out here like damn can yall just do it already? I’ll have to read it physically but the audio version is so! Good!
