I was pleasantly surprised at how much they made me go from absolutely hating the MMC to kinda loving him by the end! 🤩🤩🤩🤩

the plot

I loved the whole book it was one of the best stories I have read in my life

You had me at the prologue

Wow!!! This kept me on edge the whole time. Such a great story line. Amazing!!!!

Not that great

I wasn't super impressed with this story or the performance. I felt like the author could have went more in depth about the biker gang and why the MMC had chosen her. The FMC was really disconnected and the author made her out to be kind of dumb.

Had to DNF the audible.

As much as I reeeeally wanted to love the narration (because omg the male narrator - phenomenalllll), I couldn’t bring myself to continue the book with the female narrator. Trust me, I kills me that I couldn’t finish the audible but I AM reading this on my kindle.

Pretty pretty

I went on a whim and purchased this book. Let me tell ya!!! I’m only 17 chapters in and I am hooked!!!! I wish The author did not choose this female narrator bc she whispers and I highly dislike whispering narrators. However! The male narrator made up for it.

interesting story line

Oh, so bad, but oh, SO good. I did not expect to like this book as much as I did.

Serial killer in love

The narration was good. The story kept me interested. If you like morally charcoal MMCs, you’ll like this one. The FMC was likable but she made some stupid decisions for herself which I found to be eyerollingly cringey 🙄. It’s a dark romance so check the TWs. I would’ve liked more closure at the end. Overall, it was good.

The acting

Loved the build up although I kind of figured who the stalker was from the beginning. Nice ending.s

Interestingly odd

None of the characters are reliable storytellers. They don’t know their own emotions until they’re about to die or the story is ending. That’s not as interesting as it sounds since it makes the listener guess all the missing pieces and details. Not that much humor in the voices. I didn’t like how the man’s voice didn’t say the male lines when the female voice was talking, and the same with the women’s voice in the guys chapters.
