Kinky batman...sign me up

I dove into this book completely blind, like I usually do—and I was hooked almost instantly. A few standout details grabbed my attention right away: the dedication (shoutout to "Kinky Batman"—absolutely hilarious), a billionaire stalker for the male main character, a female lead who hates being touched yet frequents a high-profile sex club to satisfy her desires on her own terms... and the best twist? She's a detective. Yes, really! This book had me intrigued from the jump.

Inara is best

I love performanse od Inara, her voice, dinamic of talk and acting appropriate. Good job, girl

Immediately went looking for the second book in the series, but will have to be patient. really good narration good story, dark and steamy, five out of five

Dark version of Batman

overall a pretty good story. this is a very dark version of the movie Batman. plenty of spice and BDSM.

Pretty good

Obsession with some bdsm and a cliffy at the end. There’s so much to unpack in this one. It’s very much as advertised: a dark Batman type story. Very dark. The main conflict is how on earth the FMC is supposed reconcile her growing feelings for the MMC given who he is. And who he is continues to unfold exponentially throughout this book. There’s really a ton going on, and with the FMC being a detective it’s hard to see how it can work out. So, big cliffy at the end too…! Not as much BDSM as we’re lead to believe in the beginning, but still very hot sexy times! Definitely worth a listen if you’re into an OBSESSED mmc.

The narrators

I want Inara to give in more and let Rex consume her. I love her fight but she needs to give into him.

Great narration

Well written and couldn’t stop listening to this one. This will keep you one the edge of your seat

So intense!

I read this book first and the intensity was palpable as you read it, but I just listened to the audio book and the narrators were perfect. Inara describes Rex as “having a presence,” and the male narrator absolutely brought that to life. The writing drew you in from the very beginning, the questions the author spun making you beg for answers as more and more of the story came to light. What has drawn Rex to Inara for so long? Why is he so obsessed? I highly recommend not only reading this but listening to the audio.

Boring

She’s a good author but the story itself was boring. I was hoping it would pick up but glad it’s over.
