Great narrator, cool worldbuilding

Not for me, but I can see other people getting into it. The narrator was fantastic, and the world-building was fascinating, but I had trouble following the storyline with enthusiasm.

Good, but Familiar

I have to agree with another reviewer who said that it’s good, but feels very similar to the other books in this series. In result, it was rather predictable. That being said, I loved getting more information on the Arachessen and the House of Night. I think it would work well as a standalone for those who haven’t read any of the Crown of Nyaxia books as well.

As usual, Amanda Lee Cobb did a great job with narration.

Great voice & narration

I enjoyed the story very much. How someone reads it and voices it matters. The narrator gave life to several voices and does a good job of changing it up so you know who is talking before it’s identified by the words in the book.

really loved this story

enjoyed the whole crowns of nyaxia series but this short story is so good it really drew me in quickly and i felt so attached to the characters. highly recommend but you should read the other nyaxia stories and books first so you get the full effect of the plot lines and whatnot.

Good story but I lost interest at parts. I would say 3.5 stars. It seemed a little slow but the performance was excellent!

I thought it would

I listened to this after listening to the Crowns of Nyaxia series. This was kind of a let down but I was able to get through it. The narrator is very good which made this book tolerable.

I cannot wait to see these characters again, one book was not enough. looking forward to the rest of the series!
