Reborn a Hero: Asher Merrick

Reborn a Hero, Book 1

By: Solomon Ignis

Narrated by: JD Tanner, C.C. Thompson

Dying was only the start of Asher's life. He would be Reborn a Hero.

Asher Merrick never thought a night out with his college friend would cost him his life. Gathos, God of the Lost, has granted him an opportunity—a second chance he doesn't intend to waste.

Thrust into a magical world of dragons and danger, swords and sorcery, might and magic, Asher Merrick is ready to prove himself. He's ready to prove that the extraordinary power he received will unlock his potential and help his powerful and beautiful new allies.

Will this power be enough to help him and his new companions solve the mystery in Naled's underbelly? Can he and the Red Breaker guild prevent another incursion of undead from destroying the port city? And will Asher be able to protect those that he holds most dear to him?

Only time will tell, but one thing is for sure: he's just getting started.

Intended for mature listeners.

A wonderful book

I loved every second of this book and I am looking forward to book 2 if there is one.!

worth a credit

This book is exactly what you want from this genre of isekai! I hope they make a sequel!

Good start

The book is a slow burn on our mc and is abilities. Also plot was good with some twists. The characters are great and unique. Looks like book 2 could be great, but with no weird cliffhangers it ended nicely with many possible directions.
The narrators did an excellent job and is an easy listen.

that ending tho

it was pretty alright until the last fight where they started deus ex machina'ing to the max, it really felt awful, inconsistent and beyond rushed.
but as i said, pretty alright for a first book, but the lack of monster fights for a fantasy setting was pretty weird, felt mundane.

way better then I expected

everything was tastefully done. even the harem stuff which I'm not usually a fan of
