not as good as the first book

First book was good, but the MC is an obnoxiously stupid douche-bag. He is self righteous and self centered, and by the end I was hoping that he would just get killed already.

Stupidity

The main character asher is badly written. He's child portrayed as a Hero who acts like a child.
