Compilation of stories

As always, Andrea Parsneau narrating is AWESOME! I’ve lost count of all the unique voices she has created that brings this story to life. As far as the story, we finally hear from Ryoka, but sadly only for a chapter or two. We get more of the King of Destruction, Erin (of course), the doctors crew (always a delight), a few side tales, and many of the adventuring teams. This is the first book in a long time that feels like light stories rather than moving the plot forward in any significant way, but still 5 stars as usual.

Astounding and wonderful

Honestly I’m floored by how this series has turned out. Book 9 broke me a little but book 10 was a balm it kept it light while answering some questions only to give me twice as much. This story has become my absolute must recommend to anyone looking for a book with staying power and development. 20/10 favorite LitRPG/gamelit EVER! Andrea Parsneau unsurprisingly blows the interactions out of the water and absolutely brings all the characters to life in a way that I actually find myself wishing I could listen to numb tongues songs or see ryoka run with the wind.

Decent but not great

Still a good book and recommended for a good read, but when compared to its predecessors, it seems slightly lacking.

I love these books!

I’ve been a huge fan since I listened to the first book. I’m a little miffed that this book is titled the wind runner, but we get so little content regarding said runner. And if I’m being honest, I get so tired of listening to things going on in the long of destruction’s side of thongs. But overall, great series! And 40 hour books for 1 credit is a huge selling point for me.

Great book, but too much focus on side stories

Great to have Ryoka back in the story. There are some great stories and person development. However, the side stories about the Doctor and about the King are boring and takes up far too much of the book. Andrea does as usual a fantastic job, but the book suffers from very little development in the main story telling.
