Charming story

I like the realness of the characters. They are imperfect people and I think the story is beautiful!

Ready for Queen of the Dawn!

SM Gaither has created a world and characters that have captured my heart! Book 4 in the series has growing pains that are necessary from the events in book 3. This puts our girl Cas in an uncomfortable position of not being able to be involved in all facets of things going on, and as always, Gaither does a wonderful job making us feel it. I cannot wait for the next book!

Jesse Vilinsky does an amazing job of bringing this world to life with her narration! Her voices for each character are just perfect. I get frustrated when an author writes that a character whispered or breathed something and the narrator reads it at the same level and tone as the character's normal speech. Jesse employs the appropriate range of tones given the author's words so that when the character whispers or breathes something its almost hard to actually hear what they said, which is fantastic!

Awesome Narration

This is a great series! The audio books are even better thanks to the amazing narration!

oh, my!

This keeps getting more and more intense as Casi and Elander fight the powers that be. I love how the characters are real and flawed but still amazing! I can't wait to see how this story finally comes to a close.

Great Performance, Long Story

The voice actors were amazing for this story. I had reached a slump in the series and switching to the audio really brought me back in. I love the world that has been built and the challenges they are working through, but the story was a little too long and slow paced at times.

This world and the collection of gods who meddle in human affairs is captivating!
The narration is amazing with each character having their own voice!! I highly recommend this series!

Wonderful book 4

From the beautiful world building and surprising twists and turns, this is a great book! Of course it ends on a cliff hanger! I can’t wait to read the next one!

So Depressing.

The story is so depressing. Way to much negativity and loss without any hope. It feels like your soul is being crushed and there is no
reason to live or listen to the book.

Seems to go nowhere

This series is way too long for such little story. It could have gone in a book or two, not half a dozen. That would have been good. It just seems like there are ridiculous “plot twists” to make it longer but not adding anything to the story. I want my hours and money back. I won’t bother with the next book.
