The Heartstone Saga: Book 5: Light of the Aegis

By: Archibald Bradford

Narrated by: Melanie Hastings

Light of the Aegis is the fifth book in a series that tells the tale of Nameless and his bond-mates as they make a new life for themselves in the city of Garland, but they can’t forget what brought them there: The final showdown is coming and once it arrives things will never be the same.

Warning: This is a work of erotic fantasy. There is nudity, some swearing, a fair bit of violence, and plenty of naughty sex between men (and women) and monster girl/girls. If that isn’t your cup of tea please give this book a pass!

Otherwise please enjoy!

solid conclusion

This was a solid conclusion to the series. I'm so sad it's over. The author did a good job not leaving loose ends and hinted at maybe some side stories in the future from other characters and our main group so that helped. The ending was a bit sad but not unsatisfying. I found myself surprised and not being able to predict a good portion of the development which I always appreciate. it's a great read and listen.

this series is so good

I enjoyed this series immensely. it has a bit of everything. action, comedy, romance, multiple pov and great characters and development. it sounds like the primary story is over but there is so much of this world to explore I hope the author continues with some side stories down the road Melanie's narration was top notch and I can't imagine anyone else doing it. she has a wide range and fits the sultry voices so well. if you haven't start this series.

Good, but just shy of great.

Could be much worse, but also could be better. I'll be leaving a more detailed review on book 1.

bitter sweet conclusion

the ending was sad and for me it was a phyric victory.
many life's were lost and many tears were shed.
