not the best in series

some lazy writing woth the quotes "said" is almost the only word used amd gets tiring. Otherwise entertaining, but not best in the series.
Not ceryain about why people consider it "woke." One cross dressing , likely bisexual? Seriously!? Those listeners must live in some pretty repressed areas to think one person in a small town is a huge deal.
Grow up.

I loved it so much! Cassandra IS the voices of each character now when I reading the books. Great writing, hilarious and always a good mystery.

New Year’s In Sinful

Fortune, Bertie and Gertie are still the thorns in Carter’s side even if he loves Fortune. The Miss Sinful New Year contest between the Baptists and the Catholics is on the horizon and Fortune is dragged into it kicking and screaming. When the mean girl and boy from high school return the crazy really starts. Great laugh out loud series.

I absolutely love this series written by Jana DeLeon
and performed by Cassandra Campbell.

Jana Deleon does not disappoint!

I have listened to all of the Miss Fortune books. The stories are light and entertaining. Cassandra Campbell is a fantastic narrator. I think it's the combination of a fun story and excellent narration that makes the series so good! This book was as good as the 21 others.
