Fun light read/listen

Love Jana's books, and this is no different. Hoping for book #2! Narration was excellent

Wonderful story

Jana DeLeon once again has written a wonderful storyline, the characters are well developed and quickly become more like people you know rather than mere characters.
Hollis McCarthy, as always, gave an outstanding performance as she breathed life into the storyline and gave each character their own distinct voice.
This book/audiobook leaves you wanting more and I hope a follow up is to follow.
I highly recommend this to cozy mystery fans.

Fun Story

Cheating husband in bed with girl no older than their daughter who just left for college. New mission to save the world in less than a week. Great narrator.

Fun ladies

The new characters Marina and Halcyon are fun ladies. I was surprised the book ended so abruptly. Though this really leaves me waiting for the next novel in this series.

Awesome characters

Funny and heartwarming, the characters came to life through the storyteller. I could relate to many of the characters.

I loved these new characters in true Jana DeLeon fashion! Cannot wait for the next installment! Loved Hollis McCarthy’s narration as usual!

Light, enjoyable and funny.

I don't have any complaints. The book was a light comedy focused on the bond between sisters and some light comedy.

Just a little magic

I really liked the story and how the little bit of magic that was brought into. It wasn’t so overwhelming that you couldn’t imagine it in reality.

I love Jana!

I love Jana’s books about Mudbug and Sinful and New Orleans. The fantasy aspects of the Mudbug and Wrong Side of Forty are whimsical and fun, but they also bring depth to the stories. I’ve been hoping for a sequel to this book for years.

Different but we'll done

Jana Deleon wrote an awesome story based in Louisiana. The authors metafor of finding purpose via the ring was well done.
