Boy!!

This book had me laughing at times, surprised at times, and completely satisfied! I highly recommend. But then I like everything by Harlan Coben.

Never disappoints!

Another wonderful read- couldnt put it down! The worst part of reading this book is that now I have to wait until he publishes another one!

Wish I had noticed...

Several months ago I purchased an audiobook for Stephen King’s ‘It’, but I couldn’t get past the first few chapters because of how gratingly obnoxious the narrator was. Overacting everything as irritatingly as possible and sounds like he’s yelling the entire novel at you. Picture a narcissistic semi-drunk car salesman from Boston trying to read to you; that’s essentially what it’s like. Pure torture. Paid no mind to the name until now, when I couldn’t suffer through this audiobook, either. Sure enough, went back and checked the narrator’s name for ‘It’, and realized it was the same guy. At least now I know that any book narrated by Steven Weber is going to make me wish I was deaf, and will be avoided like COVID in the future.

I am REALLY hoping Wilde & Co become a series. So many unanswered questions with so much potential. LOVED this book.

Easy listening, but not much substance.

It checks all the boxes for a sleuth story, easy to follow, but kind of boring and predictable.
