Wow!

Ok. I actually didn’t like it at first… but then couldn’t put it down! Captivating stories. Just listen to it.

Amazingly written!

Listening to the complete series was a treat. Book 10 was an emotional and psychological torment in all the best ways. The build up of the series was written well. The author’s closing notes have me hoping for more from the Torrent Witches.

Sometimes the best recipes are the simple ones...

To be honest, I reason I picked these books are because of the listening hours of 65+ hours. I had 1 credit left and couldn't buy anymore for atleast a week. After reading the synopsis, I had assumed this would be a very well worn type of book. Thankfully, I was very surprised. And more importantly, hooked. A quirky, sarcastic, and sometimes crazy family + a years long mystery that is stretched through the books without getting stagnant + enough love interests without being raunchy (you can only read SO many love scenes without getting jaded)+ fun and interesting storylines and sub characters to keep things fun +, and most importantly, MAGIC that's relatable in an everyday way. Not to mention a narrator that does such a good job that you get hooked on the book instead of them and can just get lost... as a great narrator should do.

To be completely honest, I have DEFINITELY read/listened to better in a sense. BUT, that list is extremely short and highly selective. But THESE books tick all the boxes that I need. And while it took me to the 2nd or 3rd book to be TRULY get invested by the end I was craving the next and sad when it ended. If that's not the mark of a good book then I don't know what is...

I loved this series

The storyline and series was great! The only caution is in the beginning of the 10th book they put the chapters out of order so it’s confusing and maybe a chapter is missing because I don’t remember anything about blowing up whiskey barrels until after the fact but who knows.

Either way it was a fantastic listen. Great narrator. Fantastic humor.

Love box sets

I wish you could get every series in a box set!! Cute story and good character building. Story lines were simple but keep you interested. The very last book was the hardest to follow as there was so much to tie up.

This is a great book series!

These books are fun and lighthearted and get better and better each book. I love the characters they have very distinct personalities. Hope to see more from Tess Lake .
At first I didn’t like the narration a little slow but I just turned the speed up x1 just a little and it was perfect!

Love this series.

As a big fan of cozy mysteries I was excited to find a set of 10 books. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t sure I wanted to keep going during the start of butter witch , because the moms , aunts and aunt cass can be a bit much. I am so glad I did, I just finished the series and will definitely give them a listen again.

This was fun to listen to. I loved having the entire series all at once. I didn’t have to wait for the next book to be released. 😊

Couldn’t put them down

This series was amazing! The characters were so lovable and I loved that each book had its own mysteries to be solved while a grand mystery wove itself through the entire series!! 💜 loved loved loved loved every minute!!
